March Pumps

March Pump History

  • March Pumps has been making special magnetic drive pumps just outside Chicago since 1963. With almost 50 years of experience, March has dealt with many different uses for their pumps. They make pumps using various materials to match different chemicals. If you need a special pump for a specific job, their engineering team can help. March is a US company that’s independently owned and operated by people with lots of engineering experience. A March magnetic drive pump is a reliable choice.
  • March Pumps is famous for making pumps that don’t use metal seals. They also make air motor pumps, pumps that work underwater without metal parts, pumps for soap and dispensers, and pumps that can start by themselves without needing outside help.

Speciality and USP of March Pumps

  1. Why Magnetic Sealless Pumps?

A magnetic drive pump is sealless, preventing any leakage that is normally associated with a conventional seal pump. Not only does the absence of a seal prevent the leakage of potentially dangerous and expensive liquids, but it also reduces maintenance time spent on the pump. In any magnetic drive pump, there are only two moving parts, the drive magnet, and the impeller. With only two moving parts, there is little to break in the pump. The simpler the pump, the less chance there is for failure. A magnetic drive pump is your answer for a long-life, dependable, reliable Pump.

  • Leak-proof, No maintenance associated with seal wear.
  • Efficient Friction-free operation reduces power consumption. Full motor horsepower is transferred to pumping power with no power loss.
  • Built-in overload protection The magnetic coupling acts as a clutch to provide overload protection and prevent motor burnouts under heavy loads from high specific gravity liquids.
  1. March Pumps offers a variety of nonmetallic material combinations in the pump according to chemicals.
  2. March Pumps also offers DC motors and air motors as prime movers.
  3. March Pumps have proven themselves in all these chemicals Acetic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Chlorine, Citric Acid, Chromic Acid, Ethylene Glycol, Ferric Chloride Fluosilicic Acid, Formaldehyde, Hydrochloric Acid (Muriatic), Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Plating Solutions, Potassium Hydroxide, Potassium Permanganate, Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic), Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Permanganate, Nickel Sulphate, Sulfuric Acid.
  4. Easily maintained Many models are designed so that the motor can be removed from the pump housing, inspected, and replaced without draining the system. No special tools or training are required.
  5. Reliable Magnetic drive pumps offer trouble-free performance over many years of service life.
